I bought this QRP EFHW as I have an upcoming field trip and do not have the time to finish my home-brew project yet.

It is a wonderfully well constructed QRP device, has worked well OTOB at both field operations ( as documented in the post on my first field ops and at JOTA-JOTI 2025). And the internals seem to be safely fused (maybe with hot glue) to avoid water seepage issues in the field.
